WINE & BEER

800+ wines. Curated over time by our in-house sommeliers.

Picking great wine is honestly our bread and butter (we clearly love bread and butter too).

We’ve spent years building Iowa City’s most considered wine shop — California, Argentina, France, Italy, Lebanon, Slovenia, and pretty much anywhere making something worth drinking. Big names when they earn the shelf. Small producers when they’re better.

Whether you want a Tuesday red, something for the table, or a cellar in the making — come tell us what you’re after. We’re the people for it.

Cheese (yes, please).

If wine is our bread and butter, cheese is… well, you get it. Our counter is picked with the same care as the wine shelf — from France to Wisconsin to England, with every stop in between (Italy, Spain, Switzerland, you name it). Aged or fresh, funky or familiar, we carry what we’dserve ourselves.

Building a board? Pairing with a Saturday wine? Wondering about the one with the holes? Ask. We’ll cut it fresh.

Upcoming Class – Resuming in September

Recurring wine and cheese classes — varietal deep-dives, blending sessions, themed pairings. The schedule changes with the season; ask in store or check the email list.

Craft beer: small but mighty.

A tight selection of craft beer in Iowa City — big opinions in a small footprint. We obsess over Reunion Brewery (our friends on the Ped Mall and over in Coralville), love the weirder breweries doing weirder things, and respect the classics still pushing the craft world forward.

Snobs in spirit, friendly in person. And yes — PBR, Miller, Bud, Coors are all available. No notes.

Growler fills on Reunion and Wild Culture Kombucha — $2 off when you bring a Kiosk receipt.

Discounts that add up.
6% off six bottles. 12% off twelve. Mix-and-match six packs on 12 and 16oz singles.

Two wine clubs with exclusive bottles, classes, and the occasional winemaker Zoom. The Wine & Cheese list is where we send our best finds first — sign up if you like the inside track.
